Looking for a career jump start in a fast-paced fintech? As a Junior Fintech Operations Analyst you will take your stake in the development of the new world around mobile wallets, payments and financial services. You’ll gain first-hand experience in a growing tech startup. Together with our Payment & Financial Services team you will shape the daily operations of our product and learn what it takes to push a successful product on a global scale. Life is short. How you'll shape our journey

  • Start developing your expert knowledge in banking by operating day to day payment operations tasks, including areas such as customer due diligence (KYC), risk & fraud mitigation, transaction monitoring, reconciliation, market expansion or regulatory reporting
  • Learn about the best practices, striving for better efficiency and quality and understand how operations can drive a world-class customer experience
  • While receiving broad insights into all topics, you will develop a focus area and set the foundation for a career at the intersection of technology and financial services
  • With growing experience, you start to define, measure and deliver KPIs for an area where you take more and more responsibility
  • Become a trusted advisor for other team members in your field of expertise and prepare for your first management role
  • Support projects with engineering, third-party vendors and other teams to design, implement and improve our product and processes
  • Assist with the management of stakeholders, for example third-parties, regulatory bodies, customer support teams, product managers, engineers, and other teams within Klarna

What makes you a great fit

  • Interest in mobile wallets, fintech and payments, feeling related to our vision
  • Excellent university degree in a relevant field (e.g. business- or technology-related)
  • An analytical mind with the ability to make decisions based on large sets of data
  • Self-starter with strong hands-on mentality and proactive way of working
  • Comfortable working independently according to established policies and procedures
  • Able to prioritize and tackle multiple tasks at the same time while maintaining a precise and well-structured way of working
  • Motivated by an international and product-focused work environment with strong team spirit
  • First professional experience through internship(s) or full-time position
  • Excellent English communication skills
